The Lithuanian Research Council’s LINO and NCP offices, together with colleagues from Estonia, Bulgaria and Ukraine, are pleased to invite you to a matchmaking and networking event dedicated to building strong Horizon Europe (HE) Cluster 4 consortia under the 2027 Work Programme, with the focus on applied AI and future-oriented technologies.

The event will bring together researchers, innovators, companies and policy stakeholders working at the forefront of applied AI and future-oriented technologies, and will create a space where ideas can be exchanged, partnerships made, new research consortia started, and research excellence translated into practical impact.

The event is tailored towards those who are actively seeking research consortia partnerships, want to develop their project ideas, or to prepare for specific HE 2027 calls.

By taking part you can expect to:

  • Connect with potential consortium partners with complementary expertise;
  • Gain concise, call-specific insights directly relevant to Horizon Europe 2027;
  • Test and refine project ideas in a trusted, expert-driven environment;
  • Position your expertise within European strategic priorities;
  • Build collaborations that extend beyond a single proposal.

Thematic focus

Based on the seven selected HE 2027 calls (see below), the event will focus on topics like: frontier and applied AI (incl. the EU Apply AI strategy); AI-driven robotics and industrial automation; Human–AI collaboration and the future of work; AI-enabled scientific discovery and laboratory automation; Scalable, trustworthy and energy-efficient AI solutions; International cooperation in AI.
