Lithuanian RDI Liaison Office in Brussels (LINO), the NCBR Office in Brussels – Business & Science Poland, the Slovenian Business & Research Association, the European Office of Cyprus – Brussels Office, Eötvös Loránd University and the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office in Hungary have the pleasure to invite you to the virtual event “Discovering regional innovation valleys” which will take place on Wednesday 10 May at 9.30 am (CEST).

EU aims to position itself at the forefront of the new wave of deep tech innovation and start-ups and the creation of regional innovation valleys (RIVs) is a one of the crucial factor to achieve this goal. Under the New Innovation Agenda, it is foreseen to establish and network regional deep tech innovation valleys. RIVs should help to link innovation actors across all Europe and address the existing innovation performance gap between the various regions in the EU. Europe has set the ambitious goal to identify up to 100 regions committed to enhance the coordination and direction of their research and innovation investment and policies, at regional level and to collaborate on inter-regional innovation projects including in deep tech innovation, linked to the key EU priorities.

The goal of this virtual event is to provide information about the RIVs and the call for expression of interest for RIVs and how regions can join this initiative. You can watch the recordings of this webinar here.
