Webinar “Gender equality in European Research, Innovation and Higher Education”<\/b><\/h3>\n

How to enhance scientific excellence through Gender Equality Plans? <\/span><\/h3>\n

The EU is committed to advancing gender equality in all areas, the Research and Innovation (R&I) sector being no exception. Despite the progress achieved, many structural barriers to gender equality in research and innovation persist.<\/span> The She Figures 2021 report provides data and analysis for approximately 88 indicators <\/span>monitoring <\/span>the state of gender equality in R&I across Europe. A new indicator shows that women represented less than a quarter of self-employed professionals in Science and Engineering (S&E) and ICT. Furthermore, gender equality has been mainstreamed in the Horizon Europe programme, i.e. by Gender Equality Plans. To contribute to the development, CZELO<\/a>, LINO<\/a>, PolSCA<\/a>,<\/strong> and SLORD<\/strong><\/a> jointly organize a virtual event <\/span>“<\/b>Gender equality in European Research, Innovation and Higher Education<\/b>”<\/b>. <\/b>The objective of this event is to give an overview of the latest EU gender policy developments. Recent developments and illustrative cases from the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, and Slovakia will be presented. <\/span>The event is <\/span>free of charge<\/b> but registration is necessary to attend the webinar. <\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for the registration is March 8, 2022. <\/span>The meeting link will be sent on March 9, 2022.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
