On 22-24 January 2025, LINO office is hosting a 2.5-day workshop on efficient communication about societal impact of research and innovation (R&I).
The concept of “societal impact” is becoming increasingly important in EU R&I policy. It expresses the aim to ensure that achievements in all fields of science and innovation are implementable and beneficial to society.
The partners of the event – Network for Advancing and Evaluating the Societal Impact of Science (AESIS) – are currently finalising the programme, which is shaping up to be extremely informative, varried, and engaging.
The workshop will be delivered by renowned experts from all over Europe, and will be aimed at representatives from research institutions, science managers and R&I project administrators wishing to learn how to successfully apply for EU funding.

The course is subject to a participation fee, but, as co-organisers, we have 4 free invitations for participants from Lithuania.
These will be awarded largely on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, but we will also take into account the applicants’ existing experience in EU project writing and motivation.
–> We urge interested participants from Lithuania to contact us as soon as possible via the following email: lino@lmt.lt
Selected participants will have to cover their own travel, accommodation and other expenses – only the course fees will be reimbursed.
