Ministry of Science and Education of Republic of Croatia is organizing a conference titled „Young researchers in a highly skilled landscape“. The aim of the conference is to create a platform for an open dialog on public policies in the area of research and innovation with a special emphasis on highly skilled young researchers in current and future framework programme. We find it especially important to spotlight the young researchers and their crucial role in regards to mobility, competitiveness and innovation within Horizon 2020 and to the future framework programme for the period 2021-2027.
 
The conference will be held on June 18th and 19th 2018 in Zagreb with a dinner hosted by the Ministry of Science and Education on June 18th 2018.
 
The idea is to have panel discussions relating to the future framework programme for the period 2021 – 2027 in relation less and more R&D intensive regions, missions, the roles of envisioned pillars, internationalisation of scientific career and working condition for researchers, evaluation practices on European and national levels relating to R&D, mobility programmes on national, regional and European level, brain circulation and development of transversal skills. We will also use this opportunity to present the newly formed Marie Curie Alumni Association – Croatian Chapter!
