The EU and UK announced a Trade and Cooperation Agreement on Christmas Eve. The wide-ranging Brexit deal has several implications for universities, but provides clarity on the UK’s relationship with the new EU funding programmes. The UK has decided not participate in the Erasmus+ scheme for student and staff mobility, but will associate to the EU’s main funding programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe.
But what does this mean in practice for potential European collaborators? What is the status of the UK’s Horizon Europe association agreement? And how is the new Turing Scheme, to replace Erasmus+, developing?
Join UniLiON and a panel of expert speakers for a webinar open to all interested stakeholders to answer these and other questions on Tuesday 9 March from 12:00-13:30. Registration is now open via Eventbrite.
