EU and Australian officials have launched a new European Research Council (ERC) initiative to offer talented Australian researchers the opportunity to carry out research visits and exchange ideas and experiences. The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) is the twelfth research agency that participates in the ERC’s international strategy.
46 Australian scientists received an ERC grants of over € 75 million and conducted or conducts research in the EU or countries associated to the framework programme.
