The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) is a funding organization, which finances research networks called COST Actions, fostering collaboration among scientists across Europe and beyond, driving research advancements and innovation. Researchers can propose networks based on their interests via the COST Open Call, spanning any science field. Actions are interdisciplinary, open, and expandable, lasting four years and involving various stakeholders such as the private sector, policymakers as well as civil society.
The primary objective of this webinar is to present COST and its actions, highlighting the experience of Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia, and Hungary in engaging with it. Through practical examples, we will explore how COST facilitates collaboration to stimulate progress in research and foster innovation.
