SAVE THE DATE: the IMI Stakeholder Forum 2020 will take place online on Tuesday 10 November. The theme this year is „Broader horizons: growing Europe’s health partnership“

As we launch the last calls for IMI2 this year, the Stakeholder Forum will allow us to take stock of what was achieved, and the many lessons we’ve learned around what has worked well. We will also explore what can be improved upon, and look forward to a new adventure being proposed under Horizon Europe.

The event will feature leaders in both policy making and science and technology expertise.

We will focus on paediatric cancers to demonstrate how a new partnership would bring new stakeholders together, synergise with the Cancer Mission and be more inclusive in the co-creation of ideas for the programme.  We will also want to listen to you – our stakeholders – to help develop the new partnership, avoid pitfalls and build together a world leading collaboration.

Please join us to understand the IMI legacy that we are building on and the multifactorial challenges that only a new public-private partnership in health can tackle.

The draft agenda will be available on this page shortly.

Registration

Registration for the IMI Stakeholder Forum will open soon via this page. Participation is free of charge.

Who should participate

IMI encourages all stakeholders in health and medicines R&D to join the Stakeholder Forum: policy makers, academics, pharmaceutical and medical technology industries, SMEs and mid-sized enterprises, patient representatives and regulators, health NGOs, representatives of other public-private partnerships and research-funding organisations.

A virtual event

For the first time ever, this year’s IMI Stakeholder Forum will take place online. We feel that this is the socially responsible decision in view of the need for continued social distancing. Although we will not be able to meet in person, we are confident that the latest online meeting tools will allow us to keep the conversation going with all our stakeholders in these challenging times, while reducing our carbon footprint. We also hope that the move will allow a wider range of stakeholders around the world to join us for what should be a lively, fruitful discussion.
