The UnILiON network is organising on 4th June 2019 a Brokerage Event under Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 ” Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine, maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy”. The event will focus on the following two SC2-H2020 topics: “From functional ecosystems to healthy food” and “Organising sustainable food and non-food value chains under changing conditions”. The Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and Universidad de Alcalá Brussels representation office is kindly hosting the event (7th Floor, Troonstraat 62, 1050 Brussels).

This Brokerage Event is addressed to UniLiON universities’ researches and external stakeholders with the aim to facilitate the presentation and exchange of project ideas with the ultimate goal to find the right partners and create successful consortia. Please find bellow a provisional agenda (subject to modifications and adjustments):

9.00: Registration and Coffee

9.30 – 10.30: Societal Challenge 2: Policy background and information of upcoming calls by Frédéric Suche (E)-Health – Food & BioTech, NCP Brussels

10.30 – 10.45: Coffee Break

10.45 – 12.30: Interactive session: “How to effectively structure your consortium and prepare a successful proposal” by Dr Yulia Matskevich, MBA, EU Funding Consultant

12.30 – 14.00: Networking lunch

14.00 – 17.00: Active brokerage session: exchanges of proposal ideas and information among researchers (Moderated by: TBC)

       Sub-group A: From functional ecosystems to healthy food

       Sub-group B: Organising sustainable food and non-food value chains under changing conditions

17.00: End of the Event

After the registration, you will have the opportunity to choose the Sub-Group you want to be part of in the afternoon session and already share  your research idea with the organizer and other participants.
