Research and Innovation in Agri-food systems ERA Agenda 2021-2027 and opportunities for Universities

The objectives of the seminar will include the following:

  • Discuss Bio-economy and Agrifood and related research and innovation policy priorities at EU Member State and international level;
  • Explore synergies between Horizon Europe, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and neighbourhood, international cooperation and development instrument (NDICI);
  • Consider related Portuguese Council Presidency priorities;
  • Advance industry involvement in cooperation in research and innovation initiatives including the Living Labs;
  • Consider synergies between Pan-European Research Infrastructures and Agrifood research initiatives, in particular with the LifeWatch ERIC;
  • Utilize Space Systems for Agrifood Systems
  • Present UCD-Wageningen-Agriculture University of Plovdiv research collaboration in Agrifood sciences as a platform for a more extensive European network;
